Despite my layoff preventing me from completing this project, my ambitious company-wide headshot project was one of my favorites. In the midst of an public relations crisis, layoffs, and a budget shortfall, among other things, employee moral was low. Not to mention, due to the elimination of our Media Production position, we had almost no quality photos of employees. Pride season was approaching, and we needed to galvanize our workforce and affirm that employees are an organization’s greatest asset. So, I pitched a round of joy-filled photoshoots across our clinic locations. Employees could use these photos as they see fit, and the agency got quality headshots they could use to brag about their awesome employees. A win for all involved. The photos were never published as the entire Communications team was laid off on July 1st.
